Manufacturing Date and Expiry Date in Tally Prime

MFG Date and Expiry Date

Batch details are used to identify the movement of inventory in batches or lot. Although this is a requirement primary of the pharmaceutical indicator, the same can be used by other industries that maintain or manufacture expiry date of items.

You can Create an Company press enter as shown as Enable Batches or Maintain expiry dates for batches to Yes

Enable Batches

1. Gateway of tally-> Create->stock item
2. Enter the Name of the Stock Item.
3. Enter the Alias name of Stock Item
4. Select the Under will show the List of Groups .
5. Select the Units from List of Units
6. Maintain in Batches to be Yes Date of Mfg and Use expiry dates to Yes
7. Enter the Quantity for stock item.

Butter

1. Enter the Batch ,MFG date, Expiry date.
2. Enter the Quantity and rate.

Butter Date

3. Press Enter

End Butter

4. You can create to be other MFG date and Expiry date

1. Gateway of Tally -> Voucher -> Purchase (F9)
2. click Alt+C to be create enter the Party Name .
3. Enter the Purchase Ledger name
4. Select the Name of Item from the List or click Alt+C to be create stock.

Before Purchase

12. The Value field automatically calculates the value by multiplying the Quantity and Rate.
13. Press Enter

Full Purchase

You can create to be other transactions

1. Gateway of Tally -> Transaction -> Voucher -> Sales(F8)
