Multi Currency in Tally Prime in Tamil
What is currency:
Term Definition Multi-currency system refers to accounting software that enables trading in multiple currencies, which facilitates buying and selling internationally. In today's global marketplace, companies have a need to do business in foreign and multiple currencies. Many European countries have had to adapt to dealing with the Euro, as well as their domestic currency.
Create a Currency:
- You can create a currency and use it as your base or foreign currency. You can set preferences like currency symbol and decimal places accordingly when creating or altering a currency.
1. Go to Gateway of Tally Masters > Create > Currency > Create New.
2. Enter the currency Symbol field. This symbol appears in your reports, wherever applicable.
3. Press Enter to save.
Transactions
1. Go to Gateway of Tally prime > voucher > purchase > alt +c .
2. Enter the party's Name .
3. Select sundry creditors as the group name in the field Under .
4. Select D$ as the currency of ledger .
5. The Ledger Creation screen appears as shown below:
6.Press Enter to save.
7. Go to Gateway of Tally prime > voucher> Purchase>Alt+ C > Create .
8. Enter the Stock Name .
9. Select stock in Hand as the group name in the field Under .
10.Press Enter to save.
Forex gain:
11.Go to Gateway of Tally prime > Alter >voucher Types > journal.
12.Enter the Name of class Name .
13.Press Enter to save.
14.Voucher> journal (F7)> forex gain.
Sales:
1. Go to Gateway of Tally prime > voucher > Sales > alt +c.
2. Enter the party's Name .
3. Select sundry Debtors as the group name in the field Under .
4. Select € as the currency of ledger.
5. The Ledger Creation screen appears as shown below:
6.Press Enter to save.
7.Go to Gateway of Tally prime > Alter >voucher Types > journal.
8.Enter the Name of class Name .
9.Press Enter to save.
